Glen and I escaped the increasing cold of London and Paris to seek the last of the Autumn sun in Barcelona for the weekend. We spent Saturday being touristy, seeing La Sagrada Familia, La Pedrera, wondering around Bari Gotic and Barcelonetta (generally just walking a lot). We found a great, traditional Catalan restaurant for dinner on Saturday night where I overloaded on seafood (the place was so popular there was a line up before it opened). Sunday was a far more relaxing and sun-soaked day. We visited Park Guell and had a long lunch of paella and amazingly good sangria by the water in Barcelonetta. Just what we needed before winter kicks in!
