May 2007 - Loire Valley, France

Kerry and I decided to get away from London to celebrate her 30th birthday and so we opted to explore the Loire Valley over 3 days by car. We started in Tours and then after a frustrating car hire mishap (avoid Hertz!) we made it to Amboise where we stayed in a genuine chateau and felt like princesses! From Amboise we visited Chenonceau, Azay Le Rideau and Chinon before completing the round trip and leaving from Tours. Hertz aside, it turned out to be a great weekend.
