Finally, I made it to Russia. Glen, Nim, Debbie and I opted for a tour with Beetroot Backpackers and despite touring being a waste of time (we would have been fine on our own), we had a great time and met some great people. Moscow was really interesting yet expensive and Red Square was a highlight. We loved the overnight train from Moscow to Novgorod and St Petersburg was just gorgeous to walk around. I must admit though it was nice to get back to my comfy bed after backpackers accommodation all week.
