Côte d’Azur, France
Glen and I took a long weekend to head to the Côte d’Azur in France for some summer sun (much needed in this decidedly average British summer). We spent Saturday soaking up the sun in Nice, even taking a dip in the mediterranean. On Sunday we took the train to Monaco for more strolling, a peak at the Prince's Palace and long envious looks at some of the amazing boats in the port. We even managed to lose some money in the Monte Carlo Casino. On Sunday we took the train back to Nice and then a bus up to the gorgeous town of St Paul de Vence where we strolled down the tiny cobbled stone streets, looking in teeny art galleries and eating gelati. A lovely weekend in the sun in a lovely setting.
