Straight after our ski trip in March last year we booked another trip with most of the same crew. This year we went to France again, this time to Val d'Isere, staying in a little hamlet called Le Fornet. The snow wasn't fantastic when we first arrived but at the end of our first day of skiing the weather closed in and it snowed for 2 days straight! After that we had amazing conditions, the best snow I've ever skied on! It was great that Glen and I had improved enough to be able to ski with the gang this time and we even managed a few black runs (including the Face, the Olympic mens downhill slope)!! Can't wait for next year's trip!
