April 2009 - Positano, Italy

After a nervy start to the weekend (Glen only just made it to the airport in time for the flight) we headed to Positano for a long Easter break of relaxation. Positano was really beautiful and the sun stayed out for the majority of our trip. We spent the weekend wandering around the streets of Positano and filling up on pasta, seafood, bread and all other good things. On Saturday we took a boat to Capri and spent the day lining up to pay lots of money for the blue grotto and the funiculare but it was still a great day in the sun and the yummy pizza and gelati made up for the queuing. Glen had to drag me away from the balcony of our hotel on the last day. It was so hard to leave!
