I managed to convince Glen that I couldn't possibly stay in London for both of the long weekends surrounding the wedding and so we negotiated for a trip to Scotland over Easter. David and Sarah decided to come with us. We arrived in Glasgow on Friday morning and hired a car. We took our time making our way to our B&B in Argyll on Friday, Saturday we headed to Perthshire via Glen Coe to avoid the bad weather up north. Sunday we headed north to the Isle of Skye and Monday we checked out Loch Ness and Inverness. The scenery surpassed by expectations over the 1200 miles or so that we covered. The highlands are truly beautiful and we had a wonderful, relaxing long weekend.
